We are looking for two Android TV Engineers to join an independent squad focused on delivering a video streaming experience on Android TV devices. This role is designed for individuals with strong expertise in Android and Kotlin, capable of delivering consistent progress sprint after sprint, resolving blockers quickly, and collaborating with backend engineers, architecture leads, and stakeholders from a demanding corporate client. Android is the top priority; experience with streaming, ExoPlayer, HLS, or ABR is a very important plus and close to a hard requirement for at least one of the two hires.

✅ Required Qualifications:

Solid experience developing Android applications in Kotlin
Ability to build production-quality application features
Experience integrating client applications with backend APIs
Ability to demonstrate consistent progress at the close of each sprint
Skill in identifying, communicating, and resolving blockers early
Comfort working in corporate, process-heavy, and security-focused environments
Strong technical judgment to operate effectively within an independent squad
Effective use of AI tools to accelerate development, debugging, testing, and codebase navigation
Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher)

💡 Nice to Have / Bonus:

Direct experience with Android TV
Experience with ExoPlayer
Knowledge of HLS, ABR/adaptive bitrate streaming, or streaming architecture
Experience with TV UX, remote control navigation, or device/display management
Background in video, media, communications, or smart home / IoT products
Technical leadership or squad lead qualities
